In the heart of leith on the first monday of the month you'll find this welcoming, all inclusive session. We have folk, trad, jazz, blues and funk musicians and everything in between, from complete beginners to full blown professionals.

Come try your hand at a new instrument, maybe have a shot at the house doublebass(look familiar!?), jump on the piano for a quick lesson, or just come and enjoy the chilled community -focused vibes.

The Bowlers Rest is a fantastic pub nuturing the very best music and art in Leith. They are always ready with open arms.
BLURSDAY THURSDAY
For over 8 years, I hosted an acoustic music session at The Dalriada, Portobello. Before long, the staff honored it the endearing name, Blursday Thursday. Sadly the great pub is no more and though the music migrated online during the pandemic, the session no longer runs.
One of our lasting memories will always be the group effort put in to create the Blalbum, a 5-year anniversary filming and recording of one of the many great nights we had at The Dal.
LEITH ARCHES
As restrictions lifted in 2021 and the hospitality industry began to pick up the pieces, the Leith Arches reached out to me to start a new family friendly session in the heart of Leith.
It ran with great success for a year before other commitments required that I step back. The session still runs, in one form another, always led by skilled musicians in an open and fun environment.
