TENEMENT JAZZ BAND
Winners of the 'Best Band' category at 2022's Scottish Jazz Awards - a truly authentic traditional jazz outfit. Formed in 2018, TJB now tour the length and bredth of the UK winning over audiences with their youthful energy. In the band's infancy I played 6-string guitar banjo and from project to project I sit in with them on New Orleans-style stride piano.
Playing their 100 year old Challen pianola, I join members of band on the 3rd Thursday of each month at The Argyle Cellar Bar in Marchmont, moonlighting as The Argyle Rhythm Aces.

THE COVEN
"Coven – Major Arcana Energy" is a live music performance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe featuring singers Nicole Smit, Kat Brooks, and Cat Loud. The show blends jazz and blues, where the setlist is determined by audience-selected tarot cards representing Major Arcana energies, creating an interactive, fate-driven performance experience.
