Brand New PIANOTIME Sessions

So i've picked up 2 brand new sing along sessions on Friday nights. The first is at Downstairs at Betty's from 6:30 - 9pm. With a motto of "no microphone, no spotlight, no judgement”, Downstairs at Betty’s is the perfect destination if you’re looking for a bar where you can sing to your hearts content. Whether you’re a budding performer or just enjoy a sing-along with friends, the cocktails, the camaraderie and community in this bar makes it the perfect destination on a night out in Edinburgh. This session is so much fun and reminds me of my old Blursday days, leading a room in song at the piano. Disney, Abba, Billy Joel, you name it, i'll play it...
After Betty's I head over to the Ghillie Dhu across the street on Rutland Street. I erect my Keybird portable acoustic paino and I'm joined by a special guest each week on guitar and vocals. Then its a raucous karaoke session with live band. So far we've everything from Bruce Springsteen to Little Mermaid to Eninem. Always a great Friday night out with lovely people.
